We advised FIBA Europe in a case of significant trademark infringement
Our team advised FIBA Europe on various issues of intellectual property and regulatory, commercial matters. Our experts created an extensive strategy for FIBA Europe on how to deal with trademark infringement issues and detailed step-by-step procedures of protection of the intellectual property in the Baltic States.
We assisted global pharmaceutical company Novartis on a complex transaction with the Lithuanian Insurance Fund.
We helped Novartis to conclude a complex cost-volume agreement with the Lithuanian Insurance Fund in the framework of reimbursable medicine scheme.  The advice was provided during negotiation, drafting and enforcement. This transaction is one of the few with the Lithuanian Insurance Fund.
Normally, these types of transactions are non-negotiable and are concluded on “take or leave” principle. However, in this instance we have been successful in achieving what none have managed before. The complexity of the existing regulation also required extensive knowledge of pharmacy law and regulation.
We also advised Novartis on broader issues – regulatory (pharmacy), IP, employment and contract law matters.
